Hello and welcome to the Wider Horizons website.

This is a non-offical website. The Wider Horizons Project is run by the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh (http://www.iiofpitt.org). This website was concieved after former participants, who after 6 years are still in contact, decided they would like to create an online meeting place for their group.

If you were or are a current Wider Horizons participant please register as a site member and send a message to the site admin. Let them know the year and your group details so that we can set you up your own photo album and forums.

I hope, like me, that you all had the best craic of your life in Pittsburgh and have made the best of the wonderful experiences that the project offered. If you are a potential participant have a look through the forums and photo albums, and prepare yourself for the experience of a life time.

I would just like to take this oppurtunity to thank all the people at the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh. I really can't express how much this project changed my life and opened my eyes to what is possible!
